The final match between Nishimura of Tsukuba University (Red) and Matsuo from Tokyo University of Agricultural Science (White). Nishimura definitely looked more conditioned after a day of gruelling matches, and clinched the championship title with a decisive men.

Not new regs. as far as I'm aware, but some groups use them instead of the tags on the back to make it easier for eveyone to keep track of who's who.

You know what would be nice? A martial art that would mix kendo and MMA. Freestyle battle with any weapons and the right to kick and punch as well. That would be the most epic of ll martial art.
