@MrJeffKhoo Patutlah saya tengok wajahnya macam kurus masa dalam video klip album beliau pada tahun 1997. Saya tengok gambar mendiang pada tahun 80-an (bukan saya nak mengata), badan beliau memang gempal.

BTW, Chew Chin Yuin is actually Hokkien but brought up in Jelebu, Negri Sembilan where most people there speak "kek" or Hakka.

His name is Chew Chin Yuin. Born Khoo Boo Lai in Negri Sembilan, he was a rubber tapper in Jelebu before he found fame and fortune in the early 70's. He had created his own distinct style in Hakka songs and wrote lyrics about everyday life which he had used in his songs. He fell ill in his later years due to kidney failure and seeked treatment in China. The kidney transplant was unsuccesful and he subsequently died - about 3 years ago. His remains are buried in Nirvana Memorial Park.

I was in Shen Zhen this July and find out that there are a lot of Hakka people who live in Shen Zhen, and I heard there are a big community living near Dong Guan and a community call Pu Kit. When I was there .....I just feel like home...cause I am a Hakka too...haha
