"Christians shouldn't live in fear of being punished or penalized by the government for being Christians. This attempt to criminalize the legal and constitutionally protected activity of a single Christian woman privately seeking a Christian roommate at church is nothing short of absurd," said ADF Senior Legal Counsel Joel Oster. "HUD did the right thing through its dismissal of the frivolous complaint. Anti-religious groups wanting to confine Christians and their beliefs within the four walls of their church or home cannot also invade those very walls by forcing their own ideas upon Christians through threats of severe punishment."

i completely agree with the decision. I want the right to request a non-christian roommate, and I would be hypocritical if I did not extend the right to request things like that about my roommate to ALL groups

This makes me mad. Most Christians I think don't realize what is happening. But soon this will become so frequent we will all know. And then, there will be great resistance. Right now, there isn't that much resistance because many Christians, many citizens in general, are kind of lulled to sleep. Not realizing what is happening. Everyone should do his part to create awareness.

Human rights commissions and secularist government attacks on theism (namely Christianity) is very similar to the religious suppression that occurred in Stalinist USSR. Good Christians should donate 10% of their income to organisations like Alliance Defense Fund, so that a legitimate bulwark against the persecution of Christianity in Christendom will stop.

I think that people should be able to do this, I am atheist and I wouldn't want anybody to offend a theist because I told them I was atheist or I wouldn't want them (the theist) trying to convert me. I have no significant preference for anyone, I just want everyone to be happy. As long as she isn't discriminating then it shouldn't be a problem.

Communists are Actively Attempting to Destroy the USA.

Another disturbing reality in our once "Great Nation" is the treaty being comtemplated by our leaders regarding the rights of our children. Currently, America is not a signatory, and is not bound by the treaty. I, as a Christian and a father, would view anyone trying to coerce me as a raise and "correct" my children as violating my faith. Thank you for your efforts, and please continue the good fight!
