  • this was incredibly helpful. I'm only 18 and a long way from having kids but I already know I am going to raise them veg/vegan and this was incredibly helpful. Even if it's early i feel you can never be too prepared and I really want to check those books out!

  • @B4TMANB3CCA Thanks for watching the video and I couldn't agree more. Knowledge is the key being healthly with an dietary choice.

  • I have 2 of those books already, but I'm still trying to go all the way. Our house is filled with Organic and Natural foods 97% of the time. As for my Hubby he says it's a no-no, he will never become a vegan/ vegetarian. He just needs his "meat".

  • @rubiohall Ahhh The infamous "I just need my meat" agrument. He is his own person though so you can't force him to try veg or you may push him further away from it. I would just continue to cook good veggie meals and hope for the best. You never know he may come to the veggie side sooner or later :-)

  • What are your reasons for wanting to become veggie and what are your moms reasons for saying no? Know the answer to both of these questions so that you and your mother can have a open discussion about the veggie life. Your mom may be saying no because of her fears for your health. Educate yourself so that you can calm her fears. Regardless you are in her home and have to follow her rules. So for now you can load up on the veggies and make your own choice when you are an adult. Good Luck!

  • Thank you so much for the advice! I will for sure try to use what you said and thanks again! :)

  • Hi,

I am a 12 year old girl who would like to become a vegetarian or vegan and whenever I ask my mom she says no and gets all mad. What should I do? She can be very stubborn. Help me find some ways to convince her. Please!
