@gott1rott That's true. However, I think performer should keep the integrity of Chopin's style when they perform. Pogorelich's earlier performance was rather harsh. If it was a Liszt or a contemporary piece, it might have been ok. I have great respect to the artists how never stop studying and improving. I think Pogorelich is one of them.

Kind of difficult to compare any performance to what is considered by many the best interpretation of this piece. Even if Pogorelich where to perform this again, it probably would not come out as good as this.
