@tedwilli9 the lesson i would take from this is why bet it all?...even as a 70% favorite, one should NEVER shove his entire stack in unless u have the nuts or near nuts. bad beats happen. why risk getting cleaned out on ONE bad hand?

the 2 and 4 of diamonds makes a boat for his son. (3d, 8d, 10d, Jd, Qd, Kd, Ad, 3h, 3s, 3c, 8h, 8s, 8c were the outs. 13 outs is correct. (roughly 30%)
