Wow. Thats a lotta clicks. Im not sure why you push-pulled the contour lines into surfaces in the first place. It seemed to create unnecessary surfaces that you then had to delete. Cant you just raise or lower the contour lines?
If you turn all edges off, then select all the surfaces you want in one select window, then turn all edges on then you would have selected all the surfaces you want without there respective edges in about 15 seconds
thank you for the video. One tirck that i found is when you select all with the same material you are able to erase the red without deleting the lines
A quicker way to erase the bottom lines is just to view it from below (camera/standard/bottom), with perspective off, and then just click all the visible lines from that view.
