Human life doesn't begin at conception. It begins within 48 hours - a week of impregnation. If the woman gets the fetus removed within that time period. She is killing no sentience of life besides cells. If you want to go so far as to say "Cells have feelings too!". Well, you kill about 300000 cells probably every time you breathe or take a step. The human body is a multi-trillion cellular eukariotic sentient homo-sapien. A fetus probably doesn't even have over a trillion cells.

  • Wow. What a blatantly fraudulent foe libertarian. He introduced an amendment (Sanctity Of Life Act) to the Constitution stating that human life begins at conception. This mean getting an abortion would make you a felon. How can he say " he doesn't personal think" women should be charged with a crime. Ron Paul is a fraud.

  • Fred Thompson thinks overturning Roe v. Wade should be our number one priority?

What about the war? What about our 3.2 trillion dollar budget deficit? What about the ever-present 10% of people living below the poverty line who would certainly benefit from a small portion of our multi-billion-dollar waste of a military campaign? All of these issues pale in comparison to overturning an abortion law?

    AND PEOPLE CLAPPED?!?!

  • And more power to her.

  • The lady who asked this question is a pro-choice John Edwards supporter.

  • Wow, way to avoid the question, return to states and overturn Roe. Idiots.

  • nothing gets me off faster than a group of old men talking about abortion.

  • Ugh.

  • that's mass media for ya. :(

    sucks.

  • I'm sickened by CNN's tactics. How can the American people learn about ALL the candidates when they did not get equal opportunity to speak? In term of speaking segments this is how it stacked up:

7 each for Tancredo and Hunter

    9 for Paul

    11 for Thompson

12 each for Huckabee and McCain

    19 for Romney

    20 for Giuliani

Once I figure out the actual airtime the unfairness will be even more stark!

This was not a debate. This was a biased ad campaign based upon CNN's choices.
