A cover of Gary Numan's Berserker by Tim Eilers with a guest appearance by Fiona Bates. Recorded in Februaryl and March 2010. From the album "Berserker" 1984. Originally a very dense arrangement with special keyboard programming by The Wave Team. Europa Technologies PPG 2.3 digital synthesizers featured very heavily on this album. This arrangement offers an alternative take on one of many great Gary Numan songs.

  • Another fantastic cover - superb!

  • Loving all these covers...!

  • Great song, great cover!

  • Just love it! Is the cd around yet Tim??

  • Hi Tim,

Everyone asks for the CD, which is good. I also want a DVD album.

  • Fabulous!

  • ITs pretty good cover tune

  • love your stuff. you use numan in your own way. I like your take on his music.you are not imitating him COOL

  • @MyBreathingGhost

I give 4/5 just because I never thought it was really one of Numan's strong songs. That whole "when you gonna come when you gonna come when you gonna come" thing just idk, seems too comical for the serious tune played here. I do say it is better than the original just because tim gets rid of that awful silly sounding slap bass that Numan use to have in a few of his 80's tunes.

  • @rockcityaudio

Nope, his voice fits the bill , if not better. Of course it's not like Numan's voice, but if you listen closely to it Tim's voice has that same robotic texture to it, just a little deeper octave too. It's definetly good on his own. If you ask me I'm just hopeing Tim picks out a few of my favorite Numan tunes to cover next :)
