@DumDDumDum this reduces drivability. Having mechanical structures inside the wheels destabilizes and makes it more difficult to control. there are teams working on the concept, but even the most advances ones still haven't worked it out.

@DumDDumDum What I was refering to was a motor in which the rotor is attached to the frame and the housing turns. Spokes would be attached to the housing making it a unitary system. Could be mounted on front, back or both. A front & back configuration would allow for a smaller size motor in each wheel as well as faster aceleration and a backup if one motor should fail..

@DumDDumDum unsprung weight...

Someone soon will realize you can build a electric motor that can mount inside a rear wheel hub - more room for batteries; more efficient; only moving parts are the front and rear wheel. Maybe the factories will build a wheel with the motor already mounted. Would make conversion much simpler.
show the whole build not just the motor booo ive a lot of these already .

@Tenkolazy if you even took a second to look, you'd see my other videos..... one of them showing the entire build.

The downside to lithium batteries if left to discharge too long you have one useless paperweight.

@RedDrag2on Lithium has a very low self-discharge, I've had a set of lifepo4 sitting for a year, they all test out well.

what is the lifespan of a lithium motorcycle battery?

@anthonyllegrir The ones i'm using are 2000+ cycles if properly managed within their specs. i.e. not overcharged, overdischarged.
