  • watched this movie yesterday, I can't say I understood it, or received it wholly. But man it was beautiful, and it gets more spectacular after every passing hour. Never will be my favourite movie, it will be the something different.

I recommend this to those who love pureness, it's a beaut.

  • Terrence Malick. Poetry on the screen. This man is a shaman.

  • c'è qualcosa di celestiale in queste note...

  • @8SteveGerrard8 Thank you so much for this. Im going to bed tonight with a smile on my face. I wish you well my friend. Again thanks for this comment.

  • It's beautiful, I'm fucking crying. Will we understand some time that we do not need perfect knowing? I mean it's not necessary. You just look at the universe and it's perfect, I don't want to ruin it with metric fuckups that can't be entirely proved. There is something above us and I'm sure of it. Be it Buddha, Jahve, Allah or Trinity, or whatever, if we are good and respectable men, we'll meet in the end.

  • Whenever I feel stressed or anxious, I listen to this...

  • pure beauty.

  • As wonderful as it all is, the galaxy, the universe, is only an extension of nature. / The mystery lies within and in another realm.

  • @lndac02 truly beautiful analysis, beautiful but also so so sad because you hit the truth of it all.

  • Sean Penn's character is a man of a certain age who realises that the best years are now behind him. He realises that his life has become futile as are all our lives ultimately. The only thing we can do is treasure are memories in which we can dwell and re-live. In the great scheme of the universe all our wants, needs and desires are insignificant. life was here before us and will go on long after our demise. thats the opinion I drew from this movie

  • there is so much beauty in the universe and none of it related to our existence. Our smallness and infinitely short existence makes a mockery of any importance
