This is a video visually showing exactly how to set up automatic double doors. I spent hours looking on the net for a decent video or picture on how to do it and found nothing but crap and ended up inventing my own circuit to do it.
This is to help other people who have also been wondering how to do it.
I'm a bit of a shy guy and don't like talking much so pardon the text instead of commentary.
Just pause the video and copy what I did to create your very own working double doors.

I know this is going to sound like im an idiot.. but how do you place the doors so they open like that? When I place mine they open the same way so the 2nd door is in the middle of the door hole and its annoying me so much D:

my doors are staying open when I'm not on the pressure pads & closing when I step on them. -.-

@JustinSane805 answer is simple, you built it wrong, probably didn't setup the redstone torch properly or connected redstone dust that was not suppoed to be connected.

Ergh, can't speak for anybody else but I can't follow your video at all. You only hover on one view of the circuit for a couple of seconds before spinning madly away, disorientating me. The choice of music is very distracting too, try something a bit calmer next time. Also, Slow and well scripted voiceovers ftw. "didn't feel like doing" isn't really the right attitude if you're trying to help with a how-to video.
That said, kudos for doing something in the game that I haven't yet figured out :O

@OkMaxwell Sorry, the intention was for you to pause the video and copy what you see, easy way to make this kind of setup.

You'll have to expand on this. Do you mean one of the doors stays open and one stays closed, so that when you hit the switch the open one closes and the closed one opens?
