A surprise birthday party thrown by Elizabeth Weisman for her cousin Erin. Friends, Family & Co-workers alike were on hand for this momentous occasion. Definitely one of the most fun events I've ever had the pleasure of filming! Awesome decor and catering too!
Shot on location at Seekatz Opera House in New Braunfels, Texas with the Panasonic GH2 + Nikon 50mm f/1.2 & Lumix 14mm f/2.5 lenses. Gorillapod for support and Rode Videomic Pro for live audio. Edited in FCP. No grading or touchups applied, video is straight out of camera. Converted to AppleTV codec for ease of uploading to the web. Music is 99 Red Balloons by two different artists. Live performance by the Spazmatics, a rocking 80s cover band. Special help from my lovely wife, Holly, who took time off from her studying to help me out.
