what's up? I saw Gary in NYC in the early 90's, enjoyed the show. Check out "Groaning the Blues" by Clapton from 1994 on this site.

@cavo505 I AGREE HE WAS OUT FIRST BUT GARY TOOK IT TO ANOTHER LEVEL THATS WHY ERIC NEVER PLAYED WITH HIM, I STILL LIKE ERIC AND ALWAYS THINK HE PLAYS BETTER WHEN HE IS ON STAGE WITH JEFF BECK, JACK BRUCE ETC.

@cavo505 HOW YOU DOIN? THING IS MATE GARY COULD PLAY EVERY STYLE ON GUITAR AND WAS VERY UNDERRATED, FOR EMOTION AND FEELING ON GUITAR CHECK OUT GARY ON SEPERATE WAYS LIVE!! I SAW ERIC LIVE IN 1989 AND DID NOT THINK HE WAS THAT GREAT. I JUST SEE ERIC AS A LAZY GUITARIST AND NOT AS GOOD AS HE WAS WITH CREAM. GARY ALWAYS GAVE 100 PERCENT BECAUSE HE ALWAYS STRIVED TO GET BETTER AND WAS TO THE END.

yes, i know about EC and the car. what i said is that Moore knew he was over the top with his blues licks(he said it himself) and he did tone it back on subsequent releases..just listen. I did love him though. EC is still one of the pioneers of electric blues.

Gary was too over the top playing the blues..and he knew it.
I don`t understand it, when people start to critisize such wonderful and unique musicians as Clapton.
Tasty sound, brilliant version <3

they could not work together because Gary would of blown him away. And Clapton knew this.
