I had a 98 4runner and crashed it mothers day 2010. Well it was totaled but I hit a honda accord. My truck had a bent frame and did not have any problem with any thing on it. I not have a 03 highlander.

Oooo..see my first car might be an '02 4Runner with the sport package and ive read reviews about it and they r pretty good but ive also heard of tht massive recall they did a few years back about some ball joint problem

@carfreak2795 It was a 1998 toyota 4 runner. It had 89 thousand miles on it.
Toyota came out and did an inspection in the vehicle. They sealed the report and refused to release it to me.

Was the problem proven to be a defect and is the toyota company taking responcibility? and reinborcing all your loses?

I walked away from the accident and without a serious injury no lawyer would take my case against Toyota. Toyota sent their engineer out to inspect my vehicle....they sealed the report "because we don't have to help you sue us."
