NOTE: This list is complied of the world's most populated cities by metropolitan area, meaning the greater overall area of a city.
For #1's case, it is actually the only megalopolis in the world. It is combined out of three metropolises, making it very populated.

i've heard sao paulo and Mumbai are woooooooooonderful cities! :) I love Mexico City, my hometown :)
