David Crosson, executive director of the California Historical Society, opens the program of a book party held to celebrate the release of "Wherever There's A Fight" by Elaine Elinson and Stan Yogi -- the first-ever account of the struggle to develop and protect rights in the Golden State. The event was hosted at the California Historical Society by The ACLU of Northern California, Heyday Books and the Equal Justice Society.
