  • @DR - You should have designed a system to connect the brush mower in front of the ATV instead pulling it over grass and brush that has been crushed down by the ATV. This does not look like it would work very well for most real world use in this configuration.

  • @specialks1953 The grass is cut, it is just laying down, this unit is not a mulcher when it comes to dealing with tall grass.

  • No offence to the DR but skip to 3 minute mark and look at the shitty job. you would basicly have to go threw one way and go back over going backwards.

  • @jenniesboy None taken… what you are referring to, is because of the type of tow vehicle we are using here. The Ranger is laying down the grass before the mower gets to it. All things considered, I think it is doing an amazing job when you take that into consideration. Normally when I mow this, I use a quad, which does not lay as much grass down. Also, on flatter ground, I offset the mower, so it always cuts unflattened grass. Offsetting the mower on steep slopes is not always a good idea.

  • the tow bar does pivot for an ofset, we also offer a brace kit for those machines the only problem is the throttle cables

  • @ryan05753 The throttle cable has always been a pain on this unit, it is way too short, and as of yet I have not seen a kit for a longer version. I can't really complain, because my AgraFab finish mower only has a throttle mounted on the tongue.

  • @holyshist1 - Thanks. I like the mower but it still seems it would do much better if the mower attachment was in front of the moving vehicle so it could be used almost anywhere. Up front, would allow for even better control of the mower making the most of it's cutting swath. I know it would require support by tires of some kind that would fold down the grass but I think it would still be better. The swing out is also good but requires a more watchful eye. Thanks again.

  • @specialks1953 they have tow behind mowers that have a hitch that swings it out to the side so you dont crush it but thats better for feilds and this is better for trails

  • DR makes some good stuff but it appears this product is not much more than a big lawnmower. I'd take a rotary mower any day.

  • @BeanMeister22 - It is good that it cut it but I like my idea. Thanks for posting your good video. I didn't know they made one of these. Now I know.

  • That looks like fun!

  • How well a mower works depends a lot on what type of grass it's mowing...the height the texture etc. This grass looks long and wirey....wild grass in seed. It's not the easy to cut.

  • looks like its barely doing anything other than just flattening it, not actually cutting. i guess cameras make illusions so i would have to whitness it first hand.
