well....
when i heard about powerbocking, (jumping 6 ft, running at 20mph), I was expecting much more...
but maybe that is just me, because i practice parkour, and well i can do all this (and more) bare footed....
maybe if we were to combine both disciplines....
PKEvo on powerbocks... it could be something out of this world

I get like 500 updates from their facebook group everyday... too bad I can never go... :'(

@gadobovino69 YES! you absolutely can walk slower and not exhaust yourself, walking on the stilts is actually quite power efficient in terms of mechanics and as-long as you stay within the maximum weight limit of the stilts you can also carry small loads, a backpack of books, a laptop or a hydration pack would be possible but you certainly wont be giving people piggy back rides, even though that would be immensely funny to watch ^^

Jake makes me proud to be a Brit.

@gadobovino69 I got mine about a week ago. It is exhausting. I spend about an hour on them at a time right now and I am drenched in sweat when I am through. To be fair I am in Florida and it's like 90+ so you get sweaty being outside that long anyways. It takes a while to build up muscles in your legs and mid body to compensate for the new movement. It is a great workout.

They must have came "strait" from dupont circle..
I woud have done tricks off of the big ledge. I never see anyone spinning in these things on youtube. It seems like it would be so easy to do. I'm gunna get a pair and find out.

@jumpingjehosafad If you're in the DC area, I think the Capitol Bocking event is this weekend. (It's either this weekend or next weekend.) If you go, people there can tell you all about it and even give you lessons.

Hey :) great video!
Something i WOULD REALLY love to know, if you could answer me: is this device only good to be used as entertainment / sport or it is also good to be used as a vehicle in daily life (like, go to work, go to school, etc?) - i mean, does it work well on rides / slopes and if you go on a slow rate it isn't exauhsting? or it only works on plain areas and it is always makes you tired (not good arriving to a place sweaty :( ) THANKS :D

@gadobovino69 Good questions! I just shot these people on video and have never actually used stilts myself. You should visit David Churchill's web site at dcpowerstilts (dot) com and look around there. David was the first guy interviewed on this video, and he would be your best bet for answers.
