A jewellery store in Tokyo put a 870-thousand US dollars solid gold samurai helmet up for sale on Wednesday, to celebrate the birth of a male heir to the imperial throne.
Prince Hisahito was born in September 2006 and is the first male heir to be born to Japan's imperial family for 41 years.
The 44 pound helmet conforms to the traditional design of a samurai warriors helmet and is sized to fit an average man's head.
Helmets can also be made to order to fit the customers head size.
who ever wore that would have back problems...(44 pounds on your head!)

it's not supposed to be worn to the average bar silly! That jewel represents hundreds of years of Japanese history and the dynasty of the Imperial Family.
