@lilrocknrollfox i see the mistery man as Fred's insanity, and when he makes the call at the party, he's showing him that fred has lost his mind, that he let him in, inside of his head and life, and there is no turning back. but i love seeing diffrent interpretations... sorry for my english, kisses from argentina

bonjour je ne sais pas si cette musique est dans le film ! mais cela lui donne un caractere exeptionel ! c'est super genial! ça fait penser a des scenes reel de la vie

@Nancy517 the mystery man was Fred's conscience personified. Fred said he did not like video cameras because he like to remember things the way he wanted to, not how they really happened. At the party when the mystery man ays call me I am at your house now, he is saying no matter where you go, you can't escape me, you can't escape the truth of what really happened and that is why he is receiving videotapes. Fred's consciences won't let him distort the truth.

hey Hugo thanks for this dude.I was mesmerised when I heard this in the theater-this music over those images time totally translates the feelings of the charachter.one of the strongest moments in that film, and of course this tune (and this version) is sublime..
