funny how this never mentioned aaaallll the problems and hoops associated with EMAILING coupons to people. why? duh! cuz there aren't any. so instead of going the same route as 20 other restaurants, you went this way. seems to suggest that your company had other intentions (which is to say, limiting the number of free subs going out the door). at least be honest about it.

@freaaa1 – all good points and a few thoughts to help clarify. We offer our core menu item as our birthday freebie – much more substantial than say a free dessert. Because it's so popular, this change will only increase the number of subs given, not limit them. Also, emailing is actually how we started and it only left us with an out-of-date database - as did snail mail. Our customers spoke and we listened. We hope you stop by and enjoy one on us!
