@madiaz007 At the moment it can't be done. MM gets only a small amount of the large cobs from each year's crop that are large enough to use for these "Neked" pipes. There should be more available this Fall, and if I were you I would "Like" my Facebook page, as it and my blog are going to be the first place you'll hear about when they are available again. If you really have your heart set on a natural pipe, you can always try the Missouri Pride of the natural MacArthur. Scott

hello Scott,
How can i order a neked pipe ? I like the size of the country gentleman but prefer the finish of the Missouri Pride. In this video you state the neked pipe is a diplomat but the ones in your store (although not stained) are sanded down and i suspect they use the plaster on them. If i am wrong please correct me but more importantly Do you have some unfinished (neked) diplomats for sale? thank you, regards, m.a.d.

It does have a COOLER smoke. That is why Missouri Meerschaum is named Missouri Meerschaum. General MacArthur said corn cob pipes were so similar to meerschaum pipes in the sense that they smoke so cool. Once the cob's pores are all filled in with plaster of paris, you lose this cool smoke, and a corn cob pipe becomes just a cheap smoke.
haha i was burning with my bros, and we heard like crackling and we were like "shit were burning through the damn thing!!" haha be careful and watch your levels of substance :)

@CallOfDutyACE It's funny you would mention this! Just last night I had a cob that was crackling and popping for the first time, and I grabbed my camera and shot a vid... UPSIDE DOWN! I was thinking that I wouldn't post it, but now I might just for fun. Scott

Nice stem on that naked cob . For the price of a cob,I would rather have a great 50-100 smokes than one bad gurgling briar...but like you I smoke mine in my shop,so I find these the greatest for that purpose.

Hey Scott I was just wondering if you smoke the same blend the whole time in a cob or do you smoke different blends? I have a couple of cobs that I have smoked different blends in I feel like they are getting a bit of a bad taste. Maybe it is just that I smoked some crappy blends in them when I was a beggining pipe smoker but any input would be great.

@Pooleh08 I tend to smoke blends that are similar to one another, so it doesn't bother me to switch from one to another, but if I am trying something that's substantially different I will used a new cob. I now have a bunch of cobs in rotation and there's no problem finding one to "sacrifice" if I have a concern with a new tobacco. Scott
