Craft Project: DIY Bookbinding Jig

Do-it-yourselfer bookbinder shows off his home made bookbinding jig and several of the glue bound paper back books he has created with (and without) this jig. The Atomic Binding Machine is more refined, but this little jig gets the job done - and it is cheap and easy to make at home.

@gotoguyenterprises I always had this problem .. I read a lot .. and 90% of what I read is printed books .. I was always thinking if there's not a way to make printed books like real books that we but at a store ... People told me you can't because they Use kind of .. Big Machines .. and here you come and show us that it's very easy ..

Great tutorial! Low-tech rules!! Thanks for bringing this creative opportunity within reach of the people, you've done a great service by sharing your knowledge and experience. Have you done a hardback tutorial?  Watch out Google Books, here I come :)

ps. a tip - I've learned to refill the ink cartridges on my printer w/ kits on ebay, its an older Epson 900G but you go can through a lot of ink if you are printing books. Some newer printers are designed not to allow you to do this tho...
