MountRushmore TEST for Earth Hour 2010

Mt. Rushmore is taking part in Earth Hour 2010—specifically because climate change is a real threat to the national park. For the first time since the entire monument was lit in 1941, Mt. Rushmore will be dimming its lights in support of a cause—and Earth Hour is that cause

Last weekend, Mount Rushmore did a TEST power down. It worked great as youll see in the video and because of Earth Hour, Mt. Rushmore plans to start powering down each night at around 9 p.m. instead of 11 p.m.
