This compelling film reveals the story of a brilliant intellect who forsook a career in medicine to study personally with the late novelist/philosopher Ayn Rand, and who, in time, became her designated legal and intellectual heir.

  • now after I heard your childhood story, I realize why you are so Fucked Up! Boy .. I feel for you, with that two faced dad and that social awkwardness, ... of course you end up an ideologically blind hate monger.

-- Ayn Rand was nothing but Nietzsche for half educated and lazy ones who can get on their butt and read Nietzsche himself ... and applying her very flawed ideology to areas such as economics and foreign policy is both irrational and counter productive.

  • @shonstar :(

  • the lighting on peikoff is terrible, someone should film him where he isn't made to look like he's in a haunted house

  • @Attritive I'm trying. But you insist on getting the last word or words

  • @shonstar Ramble on, brother!

  • @Attritive Any real Objectivist would NEVER waste their time debating with an evil, irrational, ludicrous faux-Objectivist, who has the audacity to insult the almighty Peacock which as we know, was once the grand emblem of the NBC network and has sadly fallen into disrepute. Praise be to Peacock. May the non-objective die a miserable deal and don't forget, rights are contextual according the Peacock. If you end up on an island owned by me, please feel free to attack my fence and my body.

  • @Attritive Dude, you are and have been, trying to pick a fight with me over the Peacock, in a small white box that only allows me 500 or so characters. If you would like to seriously debate me, and continue to put on a little show for anyone who cares to watch, why don't we move our party over the facebook Ayn Rand page. And since Leonard is the world's foremost authority on Ayn Rand, perhaps he will pay attention and show gratitude towards you by letting you sign your name on the wtc bomb.

  • As far as lending credence to ridiculous claims by addressing them, I'm not so worried about that. Mostly what I've done is seen what you really have to say. I'm not as omniscient as you seem to be, so it helps me to try to figure out how people come to ludicrous conclusions. Much appreciated.

  • @shonstar Above all else, whether it be your 'kind of happiness', 'wit', or 'brilliance', nothing shines brighter than your ability to create a straw man. I have another piece of evidence for you of my so-called backward thinking:: if a person knows as much as you do about Peikoff and Objectivism, and has the sort of half-figured nonsense to say about the man, that person is not an Objectivist; he's an internet troll.

  • @Attritive it seems that I told myself off in an earlier post lol. That will show me. Um...am I supposed to be angy and little? I'm 5'10. And kind of happy, witty, brilliant. You would think you would be bored fighting with me but it seems to be an amusement. I'm not too bored myself. I'm just shocked that you haven't picked up Peikoff's clear idea to not engage with people who are clearly irrational, immoral, short, angry, etc. and yet you can't stop yourself.
