A Jonas Brothers Love Story--Chapter 24

**Last chapter, ALy and Nick went to the beach and ran into Madeline! They came back and found out that Kat and Kevin had gone walking along the shore and Regina still wasn't awake. We left them with Nick making some plans. Let's find out what they are!**

Nick: I know!!! *picks up the phone and makes arrangements* All Set!
Aly: For what?
Nick: You'll see!
Aly: *Giggles* OK. When will I see?
Nick: *Looks at his watch* In about three hours*
Aly: *Looks at her* So, at 5?
Nick: Yep!
Aly: So what do we do until then?
Nick: Movie?
Aly: Sure *sits down on couch as Nick puts in a movie*
Nick: You care what movie?
Aly: Nope. *Nick puts in National Treasure and sits next to Aly.* I LOVE this movie!!!!

*about two hours later.*
*Joe walks out of his room. Grabs a few washcloths and goes back in*
*[A/N] Let's follow him and check on Regina shell we?*
*Joe places the washcloths on Regina's forehead. She is still unconscious*
Joe: Please Regina. Wake up. Come on Regina. You've never not fought something. Fight this. Come back to me. *Kisses her* I know you can come back. I know you can fight this. *removes a washcloth from her face and dips it in the cold water basin and puts it back on her forehead*
*Takes smaller washcloth, dips it in the water basin and starts washing her many cuts on her arms, legs and face once again*
Regina: *wakes up as Joe finishes cleaning her cuts on her face and had just kissed her again* *quietly* Joe?
Joe: Regina! You're OK! *hugs her and kisses her cheek*
Regina: What happened? I remember Brian's twin throwing me, and then pain. And now I'm here......Where am I?
Joe: You are in ... my room. I've been taking care of you. It's only been one day. We are now in New Jersey though.
Regina: What did Brian throw me against?
Joe: *winces* a tree *dabs at a cut above her eye with the washcloth*
Regina: *lightly grabs his wrist and moves his hand away from her face* I think I'm OK now Joe.
Joe: I just want to make sure you don't get any infections. Kat had me take off your bandages about five hours ago and told me to wash your cuts regularly.
Regina: Thank you for taking care of me *reaches out and pulls him over and kisses him*
Joe: I'm glad you are awake again.
Regina: I'm sorry.
Joe: For what?
Regina: For going after Brian. I shouldn't have. And I got hurt like this. And I must have scared you all so badly. And --
*Joe puts his fingers over her mouth to stop her from continuing* If you hadn't gone, Brian would probably have taken Aly away. Nick would probably have gotten ambushed by his twin. And we would all be captives, and Aly would be trapped with Brian. Or his twin. I'm not going to lie. I wish you hadn't gone after Brian's twin the way you did, and gotten yourself hurt, but I'm glad you did now that you are OK.
Regina: *Kisses him again* Thank you
Joe: Didn't you already say that?
Regina: Maybe. *Stands up and they walk out into the main room. The movie had just ended*
Aly: REGINA!!!!! *She jumps up and hugs Regina so hard that they almost fell over*
Regina: I..... can't.... breathe.... Aly.
Aly: *Releases her* Sorry!
Regina: *hugs Aly tighter than ALy had hugged her* Now we are even. *giggles as Aly tries to laugh and catch her breath at the same time*
Nick: Glad you are OK Regina.
Regina: Thanks, Nick. You been taking care of Aly for me?
Aly: *blushes* Regina.....
Nick: *Laughs* Yes, Regina. She might not need you as her "mother" for much longer. Now that I can watch out for her!
Regina: *Laughs as well* Good to hear! Means I don't have to worry all the time.
Aly: YOU worry? What about ME?! For the last day specifically!
Regina: Sorry Aly. *hugs her again* But I'm OK now. And I wouldn't have you here if I hadn't done what I did *She smiles at Joe who puts his arm around her shoulders.*
Aly: I guess so....
Nick: I know so. And I have to say... Thank you Regina. If you hadn't run after Aly then I probably wouldn't have her with me right now. *stands up and walks over to Aly and kisses her*
Regina: You're welcome *ruffles Nick's hair*
Aly: *giggles* *looks at her watch* Oh! Nick! It's 4:45!!
Nick: Let's go to the beach then. They will be waiting
Aly: OK! *goes out the door*
Joe: Who will be waiting?
Nick: I set up a parasailing thing for us.
Joe: Any others available?
Nick: One other boat.
Joe: *looks at Regina*
Regina: YES! *runs and gets into her bathing suit real fast* *when she gets out, Joe is in his bathing suit too and Nick is already gone with Aly.
Joe: Ready?
Regina: Yes. *kisses Joe* Thanks again for taking care of me. *looks at her legs, and her many cuts. starts to think maybe she shouldn't go out*
Joe: Let's go *puts his arm around her waist and puts her arm around his shoulders and the walk to the beach*

**YAY!!! Parasailing!!!! How will that go? What happens after.....oh wait! I can't give that away! Well, read my next chapter to figure everything out! *hehe* Hope you liked it!**
