I understand that the video sucks (Not my best one I guess), but I've wanted to make this video, like, forever, and I hope you do like it (I kinda don't xD). This is going to be my last Anne Frank - related video, I'm gonna take a break of them and start focusing on other fandoms, so, I hope you guys like those videos as well.
The story begins with the liberation of the Mauthausen Concentration camp, and the soldiers find Peter (Who has survived) among the other prisioners. After a couple of weeks, Peter is sent home (To Holland), but when he arrives, he realizes there's no one waiting for him, so he thinks that no one has survived. The next thing he does is buy a ticket to New York and leaves Europe.
19 years later, Peter is married with a beautiful young woman, named Pauline, who is an actress (What? I'm to lazy to think about other name xD), and together they have an eight year old son name Nicholas. Peter has a good job as one of the managers of a succesuful Real Estate company. They're a happy family, but the problem is that neither Nicholas and Pauline knows about Peter's past. He has managed, somehow, to denied his past as Jewish man who was sent to a Concentration Camp. Everyone around him think that he's a Protestant from Amsterdam who was just a political prisioner. He has even managed to forget most of the things that happened in the "Secret Annex", including the Frank family and his own. But everything changes one day, when he sees his wife holding the newly released book called 'The Diary of Anne Frank'. Suddenly, some of the memories of everything that happened come back to his head, and Peter loses control. He gets angry to his wife for reading the book, and leaves angrily, leaving Pauline behind sad and confused. Peter locks himself in his bedroom and starts having all kind of flashbacks of the "Secret Annex", which leaves him even more confused and stunned.
Days later, Peter has apologized to his wife, and she has invited him to the premiere of one of her best friend's movies. He agrees, believing that this will bring them closer after the big fight. But what Pauline didn't tell Peter, is that the movie is actually 'The Diary of Anne Frank', and that her best friend is Millie Perkins, the main character, portraying Anne. They're both enjoying themselves, until the movie starts, and Peter is left speechless.
Later that night, while Peter is taking a bath, he looks down and sees wound on his chest, the exact same one he has been trying to ignore for the last 19 years. He suddenly remembers all about the concentration camp, being separated from his family and the way soldiers treated and beat him up.
After this, Peter is not the same person he used to be. So when his wife Pauline confronts him about what going on, they have a huge fight, that only ends up on Pauline crying and heart broken, and Peter not having any idea what to do.
He finally realizes that he has to go meet Mr. Frank. When he arrives, Mr.Frank quite and they barely talk about what happened (Due to Mr.Frank indignation towards Peter, for denying who he is and who he was back then). But after a while, Mr.Frank starts talking to him, and telling him everything that went on. Finally, Mr.Frank gives the Diary of Anne to Peter.
When Peter gets home that night, he's shocked and can barely walk. Pauline notices that there's something wrong, and asks him what's going on. Finally, he tells her the truth. That he's Jewish, that he went into hidding in WWII, and Nazis took him and his family to the camps, how he was the only survivor of the Van Pels family, how he has been denying himself for all those years. Pauline doesn't know what to say, and Peter is ashamed of hismelf, and tells her that if she doesn't want to be with him anymore, he'd understand. Pauline takes his hand, and Peter realizes how much they love eachother.
They both sit next to the other, and Pauline tells him that he needs to stop denying what happened to him, and tell everyone who he really is. Tell his story and use it as something good, as an inspiration for everyone, just like Anne.
Weeks later, Peter reunites everyone where Pauline usually performs, and tell everyone the truth. At the end, all the people there gets up and applaud him. Peter stands there, thinking how his life is going to change after that.
The video ends with Peter thinking about all the people he cares about and loves.
