@lsdvine Your problem is that you from Fyrom needs an identity but historical propaganda is not the way to go.
You need to find your real roots (Bulgarian) and go from there. Everyone knows your identity was mainly created in communist Yugoslavia. But you cant live on those fairytales anymore. It is time to let go and read the records from your proud ancestors;
"We are Bulgarians, more Bulgarians than the Bulgarians in Bulgaria themselves. "
Krste Misirkov, On Macedonian Matters 1903

@lsdvine "Macedonian" was a greek dialect and has nothing to do witht the former self determined Bulgarians from Fyrom and their renamed Bulgarian dialect.
Most ancestors from Fyrom are Bulgarians like Saint Naum , Kuber , Saint Klement ,
Tsar Samuil , Milidanov brothers and many many more
There is nothing "Macedonian" about the people in Fyrom, not from Geographical , lingiustic or culture perspective.
One word "bulgarian" has been replaced with "Macedonian" - that is it

@cauzeofdeath U r so fucking arrogant and that is why this problem exists. You find me a record of Greece being called Greece before the 1800's and i would be sympathetic but it just doesnt exist. You say that Alexander spoke both tongues...Greece itself has been called many names, janina, salonika, macedonia, achea etc. For many years ALL people from this area were "Rhomeic". You are talking from a time bubble and refuse to accept the historical facts!

@lsdvine - Every historical proof says that Macedonians were & r Greek. Every Greek whose cultural & ethnic identity links in every way to Macedonia testifies that Macedonians were & r Greek. Every academic institution says that Macedonians were & r Greek. But of course, what the hell would they know more than a slav who up until 1944 self identified himself as Bulgarian who has slavic names & who speaks a Bulgarian dialect with a history of of coveting Macedonia since the 7th C AD

@lsdvine - Do u make this garbage up as u go? No one forced any slavs out of Macedonia and Fyrom was never Macedonia proper it was only named due to ottoman border redistribution. The KKE were Greek communists who fled to avoid jail terms for their crimes. If you are talking about the treaty of Nuilly then they were legal population exchanges. When Greece freed Greek land from the ottomans the people who moved onto Greek land because of the ottomans went back to where they came from

Macedonia is Greece so gipsy boulgarians kiss my ass.

@Allonoe I think that Greeks should remember the 40's when the KKE drove many slav macedonians living in greece out into northern Macedonia (FYROM) and also many ethnic albanians out of Epirus. These actions have made the feeling of national pride evn stronger . 100,000 slavodons in 49 now they are grandparents. You in Greece are not Hellenes now you are a wonderful rich mix of roma, turks, italians, hellenes, illyrians, romanians and yes many slavs. You should show compassion for your brothers.
@ChristoMafesto I never proclaimed that I'm any sort of "golden knight", the way you proclaim that you have some sort of ancestral connection to the ancient Macedonians. And I certainly don't bank on people being threatened by my dribble, no matter how eloquent. I'm simply banking on the fact that I forgot more about this subject then you ever knew. You didn't come here to debate...you came here to insight. So you can take your ticket and shove it up your ass, cause I just cut your stupid line.

@ChristoMafesto Oh no my friend, there is no "next". The buck stops with me. Your suck a big fan of questioning, researching, and learning. I suggest you pull your head out of your ass and practice what you preach. Instead of playing the role of the arrogant Rhodes scholar. Is that acceptable for you, Christopher?
