What the fudge!!!!! That is exactly what did. I changed the lewis dot structure so that there's two double bonds from the original four single, and my chem teacher marked me wrong!!!!!!

Hey, it's been a while since Honors CHem since i'm in AP right now, but when you take away 2 pairs of lone electrons off of the oxygens and give it to Sulfur, making double bonds, aren't you technically violating the Octet rule?
