  • Hello, can you tell me where you bought the catch can for the buell? I have one and want that catch can. thanks

  • @frantapiamax buellxb dot com /Buell-XB-Forum/Do-It-Yourself-Buell-Mods/How-To-Crank-Case-Breather-Mod-with-pics

I bought it at Low's... it's a compressor catch can in the tool section... you have to seal the bottom of it and remove the filter... I got the air filter at autozone.

  • Could you send pictures and detail how you got this mod done?

    Thanks, and congratulations beautiful bike!

  • @Beit1984 Thanks :) Go to buellxb dot com and search for "breather" first link is the tutorial (I posted my list of materials in that thread too if I remember right). Good luck.

  • That's a handy little catch can set up....what sort of part is that? a fuel filter?

  • @professorprozac86 Home Depot's air compressor filter and catch can (got rid of the filter and sealed the bottom pressure valve).

  • It's crazy that stuff would be blown all inside tha airbox. Smells like unrefined gasoline from rubber production.

  • @wave135 That's GREAT! Thank you.

  • Could you send a detailed vid/pics of this mod?

    Thanks and congratulations, beautiful bike!

  • Your fan would stop running that hard if you installed an Erik Buell Jardine Race ECM. The ECM does something to either the fan, or how hot your bike runs. My fan will go on in short consistent spurts while I'm riding, and when I turn the bike off it stays pleasantly silent. Compared to when I had it stock and then later just the muffler, the fan would scream for long periods of times while I was riding and when I turned it off. It was embarrassing, people asked me about it. $250 well spent.

  • to sort that fan out ! get a right side air scoop

  • dude....... NICE BIKE
