I agree with BaystateBombers comment. BUT, the technique described is correct. For an effective fake you must not rotate your arm past your effective shooting point. If your arm moves past this point this can only result in a crap shot or a slow fake, both pointless.

Tip; For a good fake keep the ball behind your head and rotate your shoulder and elbow. If you practice you could also put in a head throw.

She's gripping the ball instead of holding it and shooting it with the palm of her hand and on top of that she doesn't follow through after she shoots.
