I almost took the afternoon off from filming; I'm glad I didn't. Heybridge had beaten Boro' 4-0 at Scraley Road earlier in the season, but on 5th January 2008, the Reds made amends...
The game finished with 19 players on the pitch - one sent off for each side, and Heybridge losing a further man to injury after all of their substitutions had been made.
Albert Adomah probably played his last game for Harrow, signing off with a goal, before joining Dagenham and Redbridge. He leaves us with some fine memories, and we all wish him well in the Football League.

  • great finishes and celebrations by the number 10...who is he????

  • That's Kwasi Frempong (as the caption notes both times); a good man to have around, and one of two players in this clip (the other is JC) to be involved in (separate) bad traffic accidents a couple of years ago. It's great that they eventually made full recoveries and were able to get back to doing what they do best: helping Boro' to win.

  • Oh, Barnet it is, is it? Well, look after him, and I hope he does you proud.

Just a quick question for the Barnet/Dagenham/et al fans who have seen this or any of the other clips I've posted so far on YouTube: how did you find them?! I'm genuinely interested 'cos I am new to all this, and would like to know how word gets around; I can't believe you'd be searching for the Boro', so how does it work?

Thanks. Be good. The Fool (and his Monkey).

  • Who is this guy Dagenham are signing? Did you get him from a previous league team? or is he from your youth set up?

  • Albert came up from the youth team.

  • Oh right. Thanks. Do you think his good enough for league football? i presume his a striker.

  • Boro' has very experienced coaches but they can only do so much in one or two training sessions per week. Albert is talented and will hopefully receive good advice both on and off the field. He seems pretty sensible, so let's hope he takes full advantage of the facilities and full-time coaching to keep on improving. Will he succeed? Maybe in a couple of seasons we'll say we knew the Premiership's best player way back when... It's up to him now.

Rhys, out of interest, which club do you follow?

  • That's ma BOY!!! Albert is ma mate. Always said from early on that he could make it. That is what we had to put up with down the local park.

    Shotty

  • Very good quality video, hope he turns good for Barnet. Come on you Bees!

  • I found it via googling Harrow Borough Forum...

  • Lo, Dagenham are going down. COME ON YOU BEES

  • we have signed him at barnet.

  • I follow West Ham and Dagenham. But i think i've seen your team over Ford/Redbridge before. Dagenham are struggling so i was just interested in whether this guy could make a difference this season. Perhaps he is more of a long term signing? if he signs at all because at the moment there is no news on it.
