OMG! I went on that 8 times in a row (no line up :P) and the first time i screamed and held on an tight as possible and the 8th time i didnt scream and didn't hang on!!! XD but now its pretty borning :(

Yah totally false advertising... Ours don't even look like that... its like when they advertise the PNE and use rides the the Evolution and the Zipper and stuff... then you go there and they don't even have them... Playland is my home, but it totally needs some work... like maybe a GOOD steal coaster!!! DEATH TO CORKSCREW (Formerly called Screamer)

When I went, the PNE was closed and playland was the only one opened. The wild mouse and some of the other rides were gone too, but I suspected that it was gone because those rides were part of PNE and they weren't here when PNE is closed.

well. at least is exciting for 12 year olds (= my grade 6 class is going in a few weeks!!! Im so excited

dumb thats not the hellivator thats the power tower at cedar point but the revelation is real

I like the rides but not the food.

yes playland is too cheep to get real rides and to make their own commercials that was an add buy the ride maker I betand it really pisses me off they got rid of their only real classic ride besides the coaster

playland is so sad one wooden coaster , wild mouse ,frisbie , hellgate , alame steel coaster , and a hellavator why dont they spend some money on this park they wonder why people dont go anymore because it is so lame
the west edmonton mall is even more exciting
and considering vancouver is a good sized city it should be able to support a major park
PLEASE ADD SOME REAL RIDES like a real steal coasters montreal has 8 coasters & toronto has 16 in their park van has 1 only worth going on!

The year was 2000. The ad was running before the rides were built.
