When I had my Phantom I enjoyed doing the occasional loop and roll, but never below 1000', and I would always keep it on the positive G side. We may never know what really caused this accident, whether it be mechanical or pilot error, but I think we can all learn some valuable lessons from all of this.

this is right off the phantomflyers fourm- I hope you guys all understand that I am not being critical ordisrespectful to a fallen fellow ultralight pilot, but there are limits when it comes to flying, it is very unforgiving of mistakes. The type of flying Keith did may look impressive to the new guy who knows nothing about flying ultralights, I mean, even his friends said he was nutts and crazy, but to someone who has some experience it looks like he was really pushing the limits of his plane.

for your information i am a pilot. i flown ultralights,ga planes single engine,twin engine,helicopter. i was reading on phantomflyers ultralight fourm while back. and they were talking about he crashed his plane and killed him self. i don't know the guy. but i hate to hear anything about someone getting killed in a plane crash.
