@debhig actually, Mr. B would probably be pissed haha
-
@TheABTballet : I can't believe that you would say that. And if you're really associated with ABT you drop a level in my respect for your organization for being so negative and judgemental. If this choreographer used a bit of Balanchine's style, the students benefitted and I think Mr. B would be pleased as it definitely showed reverence to his genius.

this is terrible, balanchine would shoot him self in the foot if he saw this

It is not that "original", I'm afraid...chunks of Mr. B's work are there...just look close.
-
absolute beautiful choreography! Bravo to all involved in this delightful piece. From one choreographer to another...splendid!
-
But this is not the complete 4th movement (fast 10 minutes). It's shortened...

It is free to make a new choreography on the music of George Bizet's Symphony in C.
George Balanchine, s Trust has no rights in this performance.
-
Very beautiful this choreography of the 4th part of Bizet's delicieus youthwork.
I like the clothes of vthe ballerinas much more than by Balanchine (tutu's, brrr) This is more charming.

This is not Balanchine :-( WTF?

high school age students at Virginia School of the Arts.
this is not the Balanchine choregraphy, but it is still a very nice effort and clean.
