it isn't a matter of training, to someone like amuro, Heero is a mook. Amuro is a newtype which gives him an ability to naturally understand whatever ms he is piloting. After Amuro's newtype abilities manifested he was at the point that understanding a ms was like breathing.
Heero was only good because he had a mech which was rare in armor strength and power in a universe with infinite resources for mech production.

Heero did have lots of military training before he piloted, though, so I'd say Amuro's the better pilot considering his results while lacking that training.

Considering that Amuro is a much better pilot than Heero, it's no surprised they used Amuro. While, of course, Gundam did learn on its own, part was to Amuro being a Newtype which, from what I know, Heero was not. Heero's a wimp, as for this game, it seems like a great game.

This is just a dumb game period. plus outer space is like the dumbest battlefield. its like an excuse to not render backgrounds.

I got this game for PS2. The title is Kidou Senshi Gundam Musuo Special. Still the graphic and the gameplay is still same.
