  • That is one BIG substation! Wow! LOL

  • @tall32guy yes,its one of bigest in my country ,400 KV substation plus 220 and 110kv levels.every voltage level has two bus systems.if one system goes malfunction there is other one to do the job.i dont work any more at tranforming stations, now i work at transformer factory.i m not sure about water,i suppose it is not deionized due to fact that systemis used almost never so no danger minerals jam something

  • Where is this switchyard?

  • @ApolloWasReal croatia-zagreb.i m just about to start to work at my new job and is is power transformers production

  • Water protection system should be activated only after all CBs of all windings of trafo are tripped

  • Cool vid, thats quite a large distribution set-up there !! Until I seen the source of the mist/spray, it looked as if the core was boiling off the mineral oil !!!..lol...(looked vaguely like the florida tranny that self destructed in style, eating its own core until the reservoir/skin burst causing the mineral oil to escape....(resulting in the fire))...

  • @astifan1 Ah Croatia, the birthplace of Nikolai Tesla!

  • Zanimljiv način zaštite, čak ti i ne treba Buholtz :)))

  • how you clean after? and in case of automatic set off, cause to a real fire, there are an automatic switch for shutdown the power or it's manual?

  • @pokesomi no,this is water system.if there is chemical agent there should be storage with high pressure tanks of antifire foam and this faccility doesent have that,i worked there for 6 months so i know.aldought at another faccility there is that kinda system, and tanks look like big fire extinguishers, all conected at same output pipe.trigering mecghanism was realy interesting, there is a big ballast wich at the time of activation star free fall and pulls all ventils open
