Woman are using abortion as a form of birth control!!! The movie showed woman all complaining about the cost of raising the child, also it showed how these women will be inconvenienced by having a child.. Bottom line ladies is PROTECT YOURSELF and you wont have to worry about ABORTING your baby!!!
-
I feel that abortion should only be available when a fetus is not healthy!!!

Where was Father Tom as his fellow catholic clerics were molesting living. breathing children? Where was the outrage? It's been going on for at least most of the last century. Save an embryo, ruin the life of a 15 year old girl guaranteeing an institutionalized life in poverty. Selfish religious zealots.

@aurelius259 "The minister's work is also important, and also he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation, as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs"
Here's the whole quote, by the way. She wanted to educate people and ministers to head off then absurd accusation.
And keep in mind, at the time she was talking about BC.

@aurelius259 No, it doesn't. But as long as we're just making shit up, the fact that the constitution doesn't explicitly say that I can't slap stupid people, but also doesn't ban laws against assault, must CLEARLY support my theory that the constitution supports slapping you in the face.
Kidding aside, is dishonesty just so fun you can't help yourself and continue to lie even when proven wrong?
FOCA is just an amendment to codify RVW. It does NOTHING more, I WISH it did!

@aurelius259 I've read her letter to Dr. Gamble, and that's precisely why you can't get away with lying to me about it. As I said, she foresaw misogynists attempted to use the accusation of racism as a guise to oppress women. As such, in her letter, she discussed ways to reach out to minority communities in an attempt to nip a myth in the bud. Unfortunately, she was unsuccessful and her words have been twisted by you liars.
But in any case, why would it matter anyway?
-
@aurelius259 "It doesn't say this anywhere, therefore it does" How retarded can you get? Do you enjoy lying? It it fun?
-
@aurelius259 Where in the language of FOCA does it say that? Oh, it DOESN'T! Yet another lie from you. Par the course.
I wish all hospitals were required to give whatever care patients need. Recently a nurse at a Catholic hospital was punished for recommending an abortion that saved a woman's life! Imaginary friends are no excuse to neglect patients' needs.

@aurelius259 You moron. Your original claim was was that FOCA was a program for federally funded abortions. And it says NOTHING about federal funding whatsoever and does not prohibit bans on it (I WISH it did!)
It seems you need to read the Hyde amendment too, as you're clearly ignorant. Hyde is an annual rider attached to yearly appropriations for Medicaid. It isn't affected by FOCA.
I wish Hyde was done away with. It's absolutely revolting, sexist, classist, and racist.
@threebabyms: No, it just proves that the battle for a woman to make her own choices free from harassment and fear will still rage, thanks to fanatics like you...and the politician's who cow down to your extremist ilk.

@aurelius259 7. On that note, a forced sterilization or abortion is as abhorrent and inhumane as forced birth. Yet you monsters don't seem to have a problem with the latter.
You're anti and we're pro-choice. We don't care what individuals choose, so long as they are free to choose.
Yet you reduce women to voiceless breeders, revolting enough, but contributes to overpopulation. A culture evil enough to control a woman's reproduction to force her to breed will also force her not to.
