Similar Songs in Anime and Gaming - Episode 1

All forms of entertainment are full of examples of artists taking inspiration from other sources. Books, television, movies, painting, and yes, even music. Especially music. And while this is a common trend, its not always obvious where the original source for one song begins. Especially when something that may have taken inspiration can become more popular or have enough changes to go unnoticed.

To be clear, I'm not saying any of the songs or artists depicted in this video copied anyone. However, some of these examples do make a case that inspiration could have been taken from other artists songs. Or even entire artists works. You just need to look for it.

Nice finds! I've always noticed the Lunatic Calm and Bebop similarity. In fact, I was looking for Lunatic Calm, but found Bebop instead, and thought "I guess this is it." Then I later find Lunatic Calm, and then thought "I knew it!" Yeah... :)

Just in case, for the people who are not aware: The 007 theme and the James Bond theme are NOT the same.

That's a really crappy rip-off of the 007 theme. It'd be nice if David Arnold would bring the real one back for Bond 23 (especially now that Barry is dead). But that's probably not going to happen.
