I'm a Celtic fan and I have to say that Liverpool sang it first. I remember going down to Anfield for the Cup Winners Cup semi Final in 1966 and hearing the Kop sing this song. We'd never heard it before. It was amazing. We tried to copy it but it took years before we had a half-passable version. I think these pictures show you can't beat the Kop.
