Crowded out by decades of development, Dundrum Castle now lies lost from view. Originally dating from the 13th century, the castle was rebuilt in 1590. Described by Austin Cooper in 1780 as "inhabited and in excellent repair", it fell into ruins some time after. ps - please don't spray inside the castle. It's old and deserves better.
