This is a video of WoW running on a Dell Mini 9 w/ nLited WinXP, 2GB RAM, 4GB SSD on an external Seagate Barricuda HDD 500GB 7200RPM. It takes place within Orgrimmar and then outside in Durotar. This is the first video I did to show basic speed. The Dell Mini 9 is more powerful than some may think! My next video will be in Shat/BC areas and then in Dalaran/Wrath and then finally....an instance run......dun dun dun!

  • how hot does the netbook get when you play a game for a while?

i have a 17 inch gaming laptop but i hate lugging it around school when i use it for class, and im thinking of getting a netbook and maybe installing wow on it if i get one

    thanks :P

  • Not that hot, it just uses a heat spreader and no internal fan. It's soundless. I wouldn't recommend it at all for you. Basically, this is a small tiny low level netbook. For modern gaming needs, it falls short. Retrogaming is perfect. Just checking auctions on it should be ok though.

  • dude you should install GMAbooster. the netbooks that use this chipset are majorly down clocked. this program lets ya bring up the clocks to where they should be. it increases the clock from 166mhz to 400mhz that's a pretty big difference if you ask me. from reading on the mydellmini forum, heat doesn't increase and you can see a 25%+ increase in frame rate in games.

give it a shot and post up another vid with the results.

  • Yes I am planning a totally suped up GMABooster video soon.

  • Hmm looks like it ran pretty well nice vid :P.

    <-- t7 Boomkin :D

  • Thanks!

  • Tweak your Windows installation, overclock, use GMAbooster, use Gamebooster.

  • Because he has 2GB ram obviously.

  • why cant my dell mini 10 with 1.6 ghz 1g ram and 160g hd run as good as yours?
