We can cerebrate now coming Mary's Happy Birthday May the 3rd and heard from a friend A VERY BIG SURPRISE!!! 31 March 2009 Not on April the 1st ;D Hi TOmmy Some great news The BBC is releasing Series 5 of The Morecambe and Wise Show at the beginning of May. Episode 5 features Mary singing Jefferson. (First time available on DVD.)

Mary introduces her band members, two nice boys, Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle at the beginning of her concert held at Expo Hall, Osaka-Suita in 1970. Benny and Graham joined this gorgeous show with their friendship or purposed to do sights in Kyoto or at Expo 1970.

Arrives in Japan for Expo 70

1 Jul 70 Mary arrives at Tokyo, has a brief press conference at the airport. This should be a transit landing, for Mary appears through Special Waiting Lounge for see-off (a supplement, JPY 130 then (the min. fare for the metro Tokyo was JPY 30), needed without passengers with boarding passes for 'international flights' including to destination Okinawa then (like Berlin from Hannover), in the international departure hall, Tokyo Haneda Airport. This exit is for transit disembark passengers only. Then she takes another flight to Osaka Itami not by Shinkansen Hikari super express trains.
2 Jul 70 Press conference and rehearsals at the Expo Hall (to 11:00 pm)
3 Jul 70 Mary sees the sights of Kyoto with her parents and her elder sister.
4 Jul 70 Mary Hopkin show at the Expo Hall (two shows)
5 Jul 70 Mary Hopkin show at the Expo Hall (two shows)
6 Jul 70 Mary Hopkin show at the Expo Hall (two shows)
7 Jul 70 Mary Hopkin show at the Expo Hall (afternoon show only)

最初の写真は東京の羽田！の国際線「出発ロビー」の「見送り用の­特別送迎待合室（有料）」なんですよ。大阪行きの飛行機に乗り継­ぐための一時入国なのでここから東京に足跡を残してくれたのです­。

My brother was stationed in Japan and He brought back a record called China Night sung by Shirley Yamaguchi. I couldn't believe that I found it on YouTube. She had that high voice like Mary Hopkins. I wish He was still with us to hear the song again.
