A movie about a whale named Samson as he searches for Moby Dick.

I apologize for the terrible quality, it's the first time I've transferred a movie to my computer.

Just goes to show that we keep coming back to the same problems, don't we?

  • And as our two lovable, comic relief walruses succumbed to the horrific, agonizing rictus of Radiation Poisoning, our stoic, young hero whale looked upon their abject suffering and said; "It's getting dark. We better go home."

    You know! FOR KIDS!!! :D

Seriously though, I didn't think about that at all as a kid, but this movie really has a bunch of strange non sequiturs. It might be the effect of the English dubbing, but still, it's kind of odd.

  • @MidnightDove22 It's not like it can be helped. Accidents happen.

  • In the Danish version, the sea captain was voiced by Ole Ernst.

  • "You're driving me WIIIIIIILLDDDD!!! You CRAZY seagull!"

  • @SilverVulpine: I think in the original Danish version he does say something like "We'd better get back to the others." in the same fashion, so the non sequiteurs are intended.

  • Now that there's a spill in the Gulf, i hope the real life whales can do what Samson, Sally, Samson's parents and all their friends did.

  • I always laugh at the seagull doing that to that mean Sailor! It'd never get old!

  • omg.

  • YES! this confirms it. I saw this movie only once about 12 years ago, but only a few parts. I remember this part where the whale suffocated from the oil 'cause it haunted me for days. I was also pretty sure this movie had a scene where a whale was harpooned (not the moby dick part). hm, maybe it hasn't come up yet, or I might be thinking of a different whale movie.

  • Freaky movie
