Well, Kevin Smith's movies are rather heavy on dialog yet very satisfying because of the subject matter and how it's handled. Same goes for the comic "From Hell" by Alan Moore.

I do love his take on the Dirty Pair which I was first exposed to in the UK Manga magazine that I forget the name of. It was the mid ninties and I was 15. It was a long time ago. Gimme a break ^_^

I was personally drawn to his work in dirty pair because of all the amusing micro messages as well as teh art and story.

Little jokes but they were hidden EVERYWHERE and sometimes right in your face as well. Things like "Eat this plasma" in teeny tiny writing on the side of a pistol. ^_^
