The man in cuffs was by no means helpless. I've seen horrific damage done by men fighting with each other while in just hand cuffs. There were other options open to the officer then smacking the man. Could've cuffed the mans feet to his hands. However this puts him in a face down position, not very safe for overweight intoxicated people with respiratory problems. Could've just let him kick the window out and added that to the list of crimes. Looking back at what someone else did you can always

And completely innocent people are being persecuted & gang stalked. It's still true that cops get to baton, taze, & mace those that do not comply with orders. They've even tazed 12 yr olds that are not a threat. Shouldn't they just use manpower to detain them, instead? Yes, a lot of them are outta control.
