Talk about threading the needle.When there are 5 or 6 Osmonds doing harmony simultaneously like a six-lane freeway, everyone must stay in their own lanes or else it's a six-car pileup. The cycle of vibratos must touch -down evenly or you'll lose the continuity of the melody and with 5 and 6 on the floor, you teeter on the 7th and 9th positions of chords which changes the face entirely, which is the difference between Andre the Giant and Shirley Temple.

There are 9 all together. 8 boys and 1 girl. The 2 oldest Virl and Tom didnt perform because they are both deaf. Olive started The Children's Miracle network 27 years ago this year because of the 2 that are deaf.

my cousin is the lead guitarist for the osmond brothers band. i saw them about a month ago in branson, missouri at the osmonds theater.

Also, I think the Osmonds were more wholesome cause they had a good father. Anyone notice you just dont see music lasting like the good ole days anymore. So many reality shows that every year now they come and go and someone new comes along.
But back then they started without these so called american idol, SYTYCD, Dance crew, and etc. None of the big ones needed any of that and hm those r the ones still around. examples, Cher, Madonna, MJ, Osmonds, Aerosmith, rest is history. The best

How many Osmonds were there? I thought only 6 and I grew up with them and the J5. I dont know why people say the osmonds copied the J. They both have there own originality, and I am sure that neither one of them want to be compared. They want to be liked for themselves , there own songs and stage shows. And that they are. Gotta love these brothers and sisters that have the talent to still be around. God bless them and all the power to them.
