actually, the problem was the runways are just a tad too short. if he overshoots the landing by just 100 ft, he wont slow down enough before the end of the runway. IAD is currently building a 4th and 5th runway which should be able to handle the A380

I live in Lorton - too far from airport to get video, but I plan on going to Dulles and/or Reagan soon for some video

I too think it was taken along Rt-28, those tanks are right on the side of the road behind the concrete wall.

Work just off willard road they planes fly right over us for landing. Can't wait for that to come by, going to shake the building apart :)

yeh i have been there before i live minutes away. Its cool thats it right there at Dulles. What the details with this plane, what airlines have it? and does it fly within the states?
