Andy flying. The wind has been gusting to 25 mph all day, eases up close to sunset. Streaks show wind at about 150/10G15 and the water is 3" chop leftover from the day. No surface traffic.

The first landing is made setting up a right base along the northern shoreline, turning final to align with the streaks without using up precious lake width. Approach is at 65 mph and touchdown is at 48 using 4,000 rpm until roundout. Then, a climbout to the left at 70 mph is made to 300 feet above the water, a tight pattern around the boat ramp and then a 70 mph idle approach into a cove where I see a big beaver now and then.
